Hope this in the right place. I searched but found no answers. Was wondering if the floor decking on the new Rpods are made of wood. I viewed the youtube factory tour video and it's hard to tell.

in the video it seems to show and layered construction of wood or fiberglass with Styrofoam sandwiched in between these layers. Is this true?

Are the floor joists aluminum or wood?

It's Sunday and can't call the factory. I've been getting different answers from different dealers so figured I'd ask here.

It's an aluminum frame, with foam in the voids, wooden deck and base, with a moisture barrier as the bottom layer, all bonded into a single piece to become a "torsion box" structure, with a proprietary process.

That explains the laminated floor description on the brochure. It seems to confuse some of the dealers I spoke with to a point. Was hoping to hear it was some other deck material like fiberglass but it is great to hear they are insulating the floor.

Thanks for your help.

The floor is similar to the construction of the sides minus the fiberglass. All being glued together makes the walls and floor strong and lite weight.
