Actually what is listed about are not actually R-Pod rallies but are FROG events where any Forest River RV attends.  For specific R-Pod rallies you can check this section here that you're post is.

I keep all the current planned R-Pod rallies listed on the R-Pod Owners map which you will see in my signature line there and I can put you in touch with those people hosting them.

But for the western US this year, there is currently one in Washington in April, although I believe they are at capacity now.

And there is one of the FROG events in that list above that's hosted by one of our Pod owners where some R-Pods will be attending I'm sure, as in the past there have been quite a few there at it!

I know there is some planning going on for a Northern California one for 2016 and the rally that is this April in Washington is an annual event that I'm certain will be picked up again for next Spring as well.

Incidentally I know there will be a nice showing of Pods at the Ontario Rendezvous as that is set up and hosted by one of our Podders.  And we've had a small showing of Pods getting ready for that Texas FROG rally as well.

Not sure that Ontario really qualifies as a Western state, but this sign sure suggests that we have a west coast!

Anyway we currently have 13 R-Pods coming to our Rendez-vous out of a total of 42 campsites reserved with all types of FR RVs.

Always room for one more ...

I am host to one of the events in the Western States. We are having a Roundup in Oregon in August. We don't do "mini's" here. I have arranged for 50 full hookup sites to be reserved in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Currently we have over 30 Rpods as well as other Forest River products coming. I believe there are only 3 spaces available. Otherwise, sold out. Look under events, campouts for final details. Hope you can attend. Safe Travels.

That's awesome camper Bob you don't do "minis" either and open up your events to all forest river owners. Folks that limit themselves by trying to be a so called "elite club" of only rpod's is a huge mistake  I rather spend time with folks with all walks of life and rv brand.  This way you can meet people from all different backgrounds and interests. After all people buy rvs because they enjoy camping and the great outdoors instead of being jealous of others if they don't own the same model or shape of your rv. Keep up the great work you are doing Camper Bob :)

Rascalrv, I believe along with prods, all forest river rv's are invited!!! We have been to two nw round ups and have have been able to interact with all sorts of different people, even if they had a RV other than a rpod.. We only occupied part of the park and not a tight group.had plenty of opportunities to look at different RVs as they looked at ours. Just a thought

Wow.  I certainly didn't want anyone to feel that they can't come.  Initially I was trying to just have a Roundup like the eastern folks.  Then by happenstance I connected with Bob Byrnes of the Forest River Owners Group and joined forces to have some representation on the West coast.  From a first event of only 3 Rpods, three years ago, it has blossomed out to 50 at this years event.  We have over 30 Rods and the rest are other Forest River products.  A rather diverse group of RV's but all have a love of camping.  As I walked thru the campground that we occupied last year, I saw groups of RV'ers around campsites, sharing stories, laughing and just having fun.   One of the hits was Marwayne and his wife down from Canada.  I believe everyone from a 5th wheel owner, to a Class A diesel pusher stood in line to view his handiwork.  Lots of ooohs and aahhs.  I hope this years event outshines all of the past ones that I have had the pleasure to coordinate.  Interestingly enough, about 92% have attended previous Roundups that I have coordinated.  We even have two come from the east coast, joining us again.  Neither are Rpods.  In any event, all are welcome.  Again, this year, Forest River is hosting a dinner.  It is really something to stand back and watch 100 RV'ers hustle down the chow line.  Locusts could not have done a better job.  Afterwards a big campfire and stories and ending with a raffle of items that Camping World has graciously provided.  We have sparked some interest with one of the attendees from the last two years to create his own Roundup in Calif.  He will, of course, be attending ours again this year.  All are welcome.  I just was in touch with Cannon Beach and there is now only one space left.  If interested contact the campground.  Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.  See you in August.  Safe Travels.

Having been to probably a dozen "R pod events" I can assure you not a ONE of them was all r-pods, nor was any camper who wanted to be there turned away or shunned. In fact at everyone of them there was at least one camper that wasn't even a FR product.. at least one. usually several. At "R Pod events" I have camped with airstreams, coachman, scotty(ies), T@Bs, Class A, Class C.. even.. dare I say.. a tent. By contrast, "FROG" events are open to FR owners only.

To even suggest that the rpod owners are some sort of "elitists" is ludicrous. To do it on a board DEDICATED to the marque is just funny in and of itself.

The whole "mini" term came about several years ago when several of the attendees at the ERU (Eastern Round UP, a R-Pod and Friends Rally several years old now) Decided they wanted to get together in the fall, and just called it a "mini" rally.. well some of us wanted to camp that weekend and didn't want to drag our a$$e$ all the way to BBLSP to do it, so 3 of us went to a local CG.. and to tease the "mini" group of 6-7.. we called ourselves the "minimini." That year, and every year since there have been non FR and nonpod campers there.

"Mini" has no other coded or subliminal meaning.

I will point out the OP asked specifically about "R-Pod get togethers".. and not FR rallies.

Weird that a website about R-Pod Owners would actually try to bring members of it's community together for rallies and events.  A place where some have been talking about their campers and modifications and showing them to other owners at events since 2009.  It's crazy that owners of R-Pods come from such narrow and limited walks of life and that we all have the same interests and backgrounds.

Airstream, HuP, PuP, Tin Can Tourists, Sisters on the Fly, I wonder if all of those RV communities know that their efforts are in vain?  And that the reason they come together as groups and share their combined knowledge and stories over the years camping together is actually rooted in a deep psychological jealousy?

papabear we are having our Second Annual Pod Party April 24-26 at Deception Pass State Park in Washington. As of now we have 51 pods and a couple of tents and a non-pod friend of a podder. We are very excited about the response, since there were 11 pods last year. There are people from as far away as Colorado, Las Vegas, several from Canada, Montana, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California. We all love camping and we are excited about the get together. It is always fun to see what type of mods people have made to their units. That's one of the advantages to meeting others with the same Rv. We have truly loved making new friends and treasure the common connections. As one of the hosts for the get together I look forward to the invasion of the pod people at the pass.

When planning the Spring Fling last year, and this year, I specifically did not call it a FROG event because I didn't want to limit myself to ONLY FR products. I wanted all my camping friends to be able to come, so I certainly don't consider myself an elitist! I have friends who own all sorts of campers. All the way from Class A's down to vintage. And they are ALL coming to the Spring Fling. Yes, I did call it an RPod Rally, but Rpods may edge out the other types by only a little bit. I am sure that my RPod friends will enjoy meeting new people and seeing their campers and not single out the "other" brands. I'm pretty sure that everyone will mingle famously!
