We tucked them up behind the base board and duck taped them to the back.

That's funny. When I picked my 179 up the other day the prep guy says those wires will continue to come out every time. No one can figure out what to do to fix the problem. The prep was terrible. Peeling paint on the steps, so they just spray painted right over the rust and peeling paint. The pouches on the wall in the bathroom were mounted upside down.unbeliaveable. No instruction book on the tv or radio. I don't no who is worse, forest river or the dealer

The cover over those wires is held on with 3 screws.  I took mine off, just out of curiosity.  I tried tucking away those wires, but they of course came back out next time I closed the slide.  It looks like that's the normal operation, and it's probably not a good idea to zip-tie or tape them back, you need some slack in the lines for proper open and closing of the slide.

I just push them under with my foot each time I put the slide out. I'm right there anyway, but it does annoy me.
The pouches on the bathroom wall are removeable. You pull the little metal piece straight out and they will slide off the metal rings. Turn it right side up and place back on the wall mounts, move metal piece to the side and its secured. I think the dealer has to install that or at least check it, so I am sure they just missed it.
