Hey fellow podders - just got back from Flagstaff, AZ and thought I'd share a few thoughts. A friend and I stayed at the Flagstaff KOA just outside of town and we talked about trying to set up a Rally for this area. I think this would be an ideal escape plan to get away from this summers heat while enjoying the trees and mountain air of the high country. So....
I did talk with the management and they are open to having an RPod Rally. Of course there are many steps involved in setting something like this up so any suggestions would be appreciated. I am thinking sometime in early June through late August. The only restrictions were no holidays. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this area there a many fascinating places to visit including Sunset Meteor Crater, Lowell Observatory, Wupatki National Monument and many many more.
