Hey to everyone from west TN. We took delivery of our first camper, RPOD 178. We have been watching this forum for sometime and I would like to thank you guys for helping us make our decision easier by providing us newbies with information. My two boys (6 & 10) already have a weekend planned we pull out tomorrow night. Thanks and look forward a new family adventure.

Since the RPOD does not come with a sewer hose, I ordered a 15 foot rhino hose, it is too long for the storage tube under the LP tank, now, any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the only length that will fit the storage tube is a 10 foot one. If you can return the 15 foot hose and get a 10 foot one instead, then you can use the holder. Otherwise, get a bin big enough to hold it yet small enough to slide in the storage area and put it there. You could also find the caps to fit the ends and seal it and let it ride that way I wouldn't want to just stuff it in without it being sealed up somehow.

This is a great help forum.  One comment  is to buy a 5 inch fence post, 5 feet long.  Can't be to hard to install with end caps.  I bought my 15 foot hose from Amazon, have no clue how to return things to them.

I solved this by going to
camping World an buying a longer tube. Had to make two plate for it to be able to bolt it in the same place but no big deal.

This was one of my first mods on my 178.  I took the tube off, cut it in half and slid each end into a 5" vinyl fence post the right length. Mounted it under the camper to the frame using the mounting holes from the tube just in front of the drains.  Filled the gaps with foam and painted it all black.  Pretty easy and now my rhino fits in with all the fittings.  Didn't like it in storage areas anyway. Good luck and enjoy your pod.
