I just saw on the Costco web site they have a new generator from Champion that runs on gasoline or propane, 2800 watts running gasoline, 3100 watts Peak, and 2520 watts running propane, 2800 watts peak. Inverter Generator, Electric Start, RV Ready, Parallel Capable, CARB & EPA Certified. Weight 93 Lbs., 1.6 gallon gas tank, Model #100204, $999.99. I don’t know any more than that.

93 lbs is twice what my Yamaha 2000 weighs.   Definitely a two person lift, and those tiny wheels won't roll on anything but concrete or asphalt.

I have the straight gas only version of this generator.

Probably one of the best one's I have ever owned. Runs everything including AC without issue and best of all very quiet.....ranges from about $800 to $900 shipped   Thumbs Up

Weighs about 80lbs and highly reviewed. Wheels just fine on any surface. Highly recommended.

We no longer own my R-Pod, but runs the much larger Freedom Express Trailer we now own, with much more electrical demands perfectly.

I still like to come and visit this wonderful Forum. We do miss our little R-pod from time to time Heart

How long have you had it. Do you know about how many running hours you may have on it?

Traded in our Honda EU2000i for a EU3000is because the 2000 kept cutting out under A/C load. The 3000is is awesome ... Except it weighs a TON and won't fit under the tonneau cover on the truck bed after I put the wheel kit on it. Love the larger tank capacity and longer runtime though.

GingerPod - everyone is welcome to hang out even after their pod is gone!

dacolson - love my 3000is too, quietest one on the market.  I consider the extra weight to be a bonus.  I took the handles off of mine and replaced them with heavy chains.  Even if they get through the chains there's no way one person is going to cart it off.

We have had this model for about a year I guess.

Not sure how many hours. It doesn't have an hour meter so I just change the oil every winter regardless.

I would guess 40 or 50 hrs of actual running time. Nice to have when full hookups are not available. Always starts on the first pull.

It really is a nice well built unit. I understand the factory support is excellent and US based if ever required.
