If I can find one with decent quality privacy glass, this might be a good solution for my 171. As mentioned in the other thread, I am one of the people who find the dinette area a little too dark without a front facing window.

Actually, a very popular mod, I know of dozens of owners who have added portholes.

What brand of window did you use? And more importantly, what year and model 'stang is that?

Thanks, the window looks nice. Was everything you needed in the kit?

The window was complete, screws and all. I started the screws on the table, as they are self tapping, and I didn't want to fuss with that AND be holding the window in place at the same time..

Cool, thanks.  I'll see what the ambient light for real usage is like when we take it out in 2 weeks when we go to RI. I think it will be fine as is at the beach, but maybe not when we go up north into the mountains later this summer.

Is this the item for which you are looking? It is what I ordered.

http://www.amazon.com/R-pod-Teardrop-Trailer-Camper-Windows/dp/B013TFWWW6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00 - http://www.amazon.com/R-pod-Teardrop-Trailer-Camper-Windows/dp/B013TFWWW6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00

It is the correct thickness for the RPod door. Here's a picture of mine:
