I'm curious if people are carrying extra fuses for their trailers. Recently, I was camping with a friend who had a blown fuse and no back up. I thought there were replacement fuses in my fuse box but it doesn't look like it. I'm guessing that it's a good idea. Can you tell me the sizes for my 2012 - 177? My trailer is stored a distance away so it's not handy to check. Looking on-line it seems like they are only sold in kits. Are they available individually?

Thanks!

They're standard ATC/ATO automotive fuses. You can get them in multiple amp rating sets or single sizes. I don't know the sizes for each circuit, but they range from 5A to 40A.

You need 7.5, 10, 15, 30 and 40 amp fuses.  Carry 2 40 amps.  2 or 3 15 amps since most of the circuits are 15 amp.  You might also consider spares for your TV,especially for the circuits that feed the Bargman plug

I carry a kit with a variety of sizes, a fuse puller, and a continuity tester. The puller and tester are somewhat superfluous but the kit has come in handy.

I bought backup fuses right away but still need to get some 40 amp fuses, they didn't have those at the local hardware store.

You may have to go to an automotive store like AutoZone for those.

I stopped by an O'reilly auto parts store and I would have had to buy separate packages for all the fuses costing about $16.  I checked with our local Fred Meyer (Kroger) and they had a pack with all the fuses I need for $3.95.  Sweet!
