We will be leaving on an extended trip in a week. I turned the refrigerator on a few days ago(on propane) and the temperatures have stabilized. the freezer is -10F and the refrigerator is 40F. Is there a way to adjust the temperatures? I would like for the refrigerator to be a lower temp(colder) and the freezer could be a little warmer(or less cold!) There is nothing inside either compartment except a battery powered fan circulating inside the refrig. I also have modified the rear cavity with an improved baffle and 2 12 volt fans. One is blowing up the coils to increase circulation and and one blowing out at the top to increase heat exhausting. Thanks for any advice. The fridge temp is adjusted via the power setting on the front of the fridge. More bars = a call for more heat which should generate colder temps in the box. You current temps may very will be reasonable based on external conditions: Outside and inside ambient temperature. The only trick I know that will probably bring box temperatures down in most situations is to remove the freezer box.

Optimal fridge temps are in the 30's so hopefully making the temperature adjustment mentioned above will work. My pod's fridge would stay in the 30's even with outside temps in the 90's, and my current fridge does the same. I know I read about these before, but what are the two little fans for on the back of the fridge (accessed through the outside panel door). I guess I have never paid attention to them much, but just got back from a 2 week trip and occasionally checked on them.
