If you are talking above the spoiler with the clearance lights in it, caulk is the wrong stuff. You need "self leveling lap sealant".

Has anyone ever tried the Eternabond roof tape? I have a leak in my 182G above my garage door.  I think it is coming in through the seam above the fin lights.  Thinking about Eternabond vs. Self leveling dap. Any thoughts?

Dicor 501LSW-1 Lap Sealant and nothing else.

Self-leveling lap sealant is for horizontal surfaces such as those around the vent stacks and vent. For those on vertical or tilted surfaces (which includes the spoiler), non-leveling non-run lap sealant is more appropriate. It will just require a bit more smoothing by hand when applied.

Correct.  Self-leveling is for the roof.

We have the recall spoiler, the top of it is pretty horizontal and the factory used Dicor Self Leveling when they put it on..That was 4 years ago..

I agree that Dicor self leveling is the "standard", but I'm not convinced that properly applied Proflex RV or Eternabond or a combination of both might not be as, or more, effective.

I recently removed the lap sealant from roof seams and spoiler and recaulked with ProFlex. I'll let you know in 5 years how well it's doing! It sure looks better...from my drone. Wink
