Look on youtube for the sales ads.  2016, 2017, and 2018.  They give a lot of information.

RV's are not like cars. At least for RPODS there are no announcements of what is coming.  And the changes can come anytime a new batch is made.  The factory alternates every two-three months making RPODS then Surveyors then back.  And with each new batch there are usually changes.  So there really is not a what is new for 2018.  For example, the 180 shower was triangular shaped and then they switched to a rounded shower which has stayed and is now in the new brochure.  The color changed from green to blue but the blue had the roof as blue but that lasted only for one production run and now the blue rpods have grey roofs.  Usually people posting here know more about changes than the dealers do.   They had pictures of the blue pods posted when my dealer was insisting there were no color changes,  Bottom line, if you like the RPOD buy it, do not wait for next years model, it may not be any different.  And if you do buy it now for a future production, you make get something different!

There are zero changes for the current 2018 line of R-Pods.  "If" changes happen it will be later in the year 3rd and 4th quarter.

A 2018 RPod now is the same as the late model 2017s.

RV manufacturers keep future designs under lock and key until production begins. Too many copycats and design stealers. It is a corporate strategy.

I have a 2015 179.  The hoop on the shower wall that the hand held shower is threaded through is so high up that you cannot rinse even down to your waist while standing in the shower.  The loop limits the shower "reach."  Has this been improved on the new models?  I'm seriously considering a new model next year and there are many little things that I hope they have changed.

A relatively cheap/easy fix is a longer, better quality, shower hose.  You can get one separately at a hardware store, or you can get one along with a much better quality shower head.  Based on recommendations here a few years ago I got an Oxygenics shower head and have been very satisfied.  Even got one for home too.

I removed the hose from the loop (by unscrewing it at shower head, removing it from the loop and then reinstalling to shower head) so I could utilize it better and then added a carabiner to hook it back to the loop when not in use. Have full use of the hose when needed.

Another way is to pull as much of the hose through the loop leaving the shorter end going to the faucet. Then the majority of the hose will be available for use. I also bought a longer metal wrapped hose when I bought the Oxygenics shower head. It makes the whole shower experience much better.

This is exactly what I did too. The stock setup is worthless. With a long hose and decent showerhead, its definitely usable. I also put a shutoff valve on the end of the hose where it connects to the faucet.

I don't have mine here to check, but I think the valve on the Oxygenics shower head can be removed and then put at the other end of the hose. For me, the valve at the shower head makes more sense, but My preferences are not everyone's preferences.
