If it were lifted up to take the load off, the clocking of the arms would probably be about 8:00 if it is 9:00 under load. It sounds like you have the re-clocked axle. I would measure mine, but my driveway is not level so any measurement I take would be inaccurate.

Looking at the pass side hub, the torsion bar points straight back at 9:00. And correction on hitch height, it's 17" to the bottom of the ball pocket.

Thanks for the pic, I know there are no risers on my Pod, so now with this new info I will look and see how the the torsion arms are clocked!

My 2016 h180 HRE (made in 2015) did not have rizers. The axel was reclocked for the larger tires. My tires looked just like your picture, On a large bump the tires hit the fender and broke the wires to the marker lights. My local Rv guy called Forrest River and they still have rizers available for $125.

That is correct. On ours, the clocking of the arms (looking at it from the door side) is about 10:00. I'm not sure exactly what the clocking of the arm is on the 2017 models. I think it is more like 8:00.

Our 2017 RP179 HRE does not have the risers. My understanding is they changed the "clocking" on the torsion arms to achieve the height change.

The comment I read was from a FR employee stating that changes were made to the axle and frame eliminating the need for risers since the overall height was close to riser height....but I can't find that comment now.

I am curious, so if any of you think to grab a tape measure next time you walk by your Pod and measure to the bottom of the hitch ball socket(trailer level of course), post it up and list the year/model.

Our Midwest edition 2016 RP179 (actually built in 2015) does have the risers. Look under your RPod. The risers should be visible between the axle and the frame if they are there.
