If it were lifted up to take the load off, the clocking of the arms would probably be about 8:00 if it is 9:00 under load. It sounds like you have the re-clocked axle. I would measure mine, but my driveway is not level so any measurement I take would be inaccurate.

Blue 180 HRE with 4inch risers between the axel and frame. Came out of the factory in April 2018 but the title says it is a 2019. Axle is clocked at 9 oclock. Bottom of hitch is 20.5 inches. Yes, the frame is level.

The measurement that would tell the tail is the distance between the bottom of the frame (or the top of the frame" and the ground in close proximity to the axle. The hitch measurement would only be valid if you are certain the frame is level.

I pulled into that gas station in my pic above about 15 min after buying the Pod....yep drug the hitch and I even went slow and took the driveway at an angle. Right then I suspected I might need risers and your measurement pretty much confirms that.....thanks. GC, I hear ya...but I thought 'everyone' puts leveling bubbles on the hitch plate like me

I found this sticker on the axle. Can anyone tell me if it is Lippert or Dexter:
Sorry, the pic resized a little small. The numbers are : V000318009 RPO-045-E13787 I don't get a hit on google with either number.........
Edit: I think I am looking t the wrong sticker. This one is on the end of the axle and the main one should be in the middle.....I'll check again. |

Putting risers on won't help the hitch dragging that height is determined by your hitch ball

But if the height of the RPod is raised, then it is likely the hitch ball can be set higher also which would mean the hitch would be less likely to drag.

Level with lifted vs. not lifted still would be higher with the lifted. That is what I was trying to say.
