Thanks. I looked at it and it looks like it likely would not work for my situation. I already did a dual-tank setup on the tongue with auto-switchover. This looks like it is more for a large tank that fills in place on a motor home. I'm looking more for a low-pressure fitting but would need to find a manifold with an empty spot to attach a hose to give me the equivalent of what the newer RPods have.

Offgrid,

+1, Mine does too. I have a 30A RV connector so I use it. When I put the Pod in building I don't have access to my RV connector, so I run it off the wall, a 20A circuit.

My rpod a/c runs just fine on a 20A circuit, just turn off the other stuff in there while you're running it. You can leave the charger on as long as the batteries are already charged up so it's not pulling much current.

+2, I use the 20A and adapter all winter to use converter to charge battery. No need for AC.

We leave our Rpod connected to a 20 amp outlet through an adapter. As long as we don't run the AC that works just fine.

Right now the RVs are 'flying off the shelves' so to speak...the dealers dont have time to actually explain stuff, they are too busy taking peoples money.

On another forum I visit, someone just bought a brand new 2021 $150,000 class B, got the 'bum's rush' from the dealer and they don't know ANYTHING about it.

Holy smokes.

BTW that LP port on the frame is almost worthless. Forget it is there. Seriously.

If you want to cook outdoors, just buy a tabletop or freestanding grill, screw in a bottle, (or attach a 20# tank) and go for it. If you want a small propane firepit or lantern, again, just provide it with it's own LP supply.

If you use that frame mounted port you have to use a portable LP appliance that does NOT have its own regulator. Try finding those at a big box store.

And if you do, you will be draining the supply on your trailer. Just....fo-get about it.

My opinion and of course, there will be other opinions to follow.

Dan, I hate to be a downer here but....  If your dealer didn't explain what ALL things were and what they did... Don't expect to much help if you happen to need  warranty work.  I know its to late now, but ask around of other people who have bought tt from this dealer and how they are with warrenty work or anything...  Good luck and enjoy your new life style.

Yes. That propane quick connect is for attaching a grill or other propane accessory as noted by StephenH.
