Great, G&T! It might be a small group, but they'll know what an R-pod is when we go.

LOL, "not only have I never seen one before, but there are THREE of them in my campground right now!"

We should find a company that makes blowup toys and have some "baby pods" made-- to show up between our sites one morning along with some empty liquor bottles.....

Just saw this thread.  I was about to bring this up with the wife, since she has lots of family in the Fall River area (not to far from this campground) when I realized it's way to close to our other trip in August.  Maybe if you did another one in the fall....:)

Just wanted to point out that if anyone still wants to join us during August in Maine, that there is the Maine Lobster Festival (formerly known as the Maine Seafood Festival) the weekend before (Aug 3-7) in Rockland.  This festival is a kid-friendly carnival-plus-lobster event not be be confused with the $$ grownup foodie event, Harvest on the Harbour, in Portland in October.

We haven't decided how much we like town carnivals (even though this one has lobster rolls) so are still planning the rest of our Maine trip but are confirmed for the roundup.  Hope this info helps those still planning.

Here are the links to the above festivals:
