It's almost time to dewinterize in the NorthEast!  Let the suggestions roll in for the 2013 NorthEast Roundup!

Lake George would be great for us.  Any time in the summer months from mid June to mid Sept.  So far this is the only round up I've heard of that would be somewhat close to us.  Would love to be kept in the loop if the round up is in NY.

We're trying to remember the suggestion from last roundup... Believe it was a name with Pine and maybe Creek in it, and in SE Pa.  I can't seem to find it on a search, though.  Do those names strike a chord with anyone?

We would like to head up the Hudson toward the St Lawrence this summer after the NC roundup, maybe in August or September, so that area is of interest to us.

We came up with the suggested campground from the fall roundup...it was Oak Creek in SE PA, now called Adventure Bound oak Creek Resort. On second look, it looks a bit too resorty.

That happened to our favorite campground.  For decades it was rustic, low-key and far from resorty (love that word).  After we discovered it we got to enjoy it for 4-5 years before it was bought out and turned into a 5-star RV resort.  We still love the location just not all of the 5-star additions - or 5-star price...

We're game for a NE roundup - as we missed last years due to an illness.

Have at least 1 trip per month currently scheduled. Headed to the Lake George region at the end of August - that will be our first "boondocking" experience. I'm OK with it - my wife just figured out that no electric means no A/C... She's currently in shock.

Just turn on the bathroom fan and open the windows, it brings in a nice breeze.  I still prefer A/C because of the humidity, though.

I seem to remember an A/C mod that included adding a soft-start capacitor which would allow a Honda EU 2000i generator (or equivalent) to run the A/C. Am I remembering that right?
