Thinking of putting a 12" round port hole window in door. Anybody out there done this? Looks simple enuf and it would allow you to see who is knocking..... RoadToad

If I can find one with decent quality privacy glass, this might be a good solution for my 171. As mentioned in the other thread, I am one of the people who find the dinette area a little too dark without a front facing window.

Actually, a very popular mod, I know of dozens of owners who have added portholes.

The window was complete, screws and all. I started the screws on the table, as they are self tapping, and I didn't want to fuss with that AND be holding the window in place at the same time.. |
