SC, you can use any kind of strong cloth and use spray on contact cement don't use wood glue, it gets to brittle.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Im going crazy trying to figure out what has happened in this picture. I would really like to get the blueprints and willing to pay for them. Today the Charleston Camping World fixed my bathroom door jamb. Door stay closed. I primed the lower bunk so I can use a Arro Bed. ( told you about 3 Back operations) I don't want any livers popping my mattress. Now, how did they get the roll up doors? I can make them, but need to know what backing to use. Wish I could get hold of Marwayne and ask them. Tex, can you help me out? I am going to get rid of 1/2 table and have a fold down counter top, and then have pull out drawers like yours.
Thanks

Tom

the cover is a cutting board from Sams club.  They come in a 2 pack, so i cut one to make the "legs" to fit over the burners.  I thought about doing the recessed cooktop mod, they look nice.  for now this is working good. I finally put my pod in storage for a while so i can take a break from finding things to mod.Wink

Yes, I agree, Also allow me to keep my pants on ! LOL I've got to get the trailer from the Home Owner Lot and start taking measurements for the drawer add on. My Colman stove top has a hinged glass top that is level with the counter top. What did you use as a cover? Looks like a large cutting board.

Bug screens are really easy.  I see an equalizer in my future as well.  I dont want the hassle, but if it eliminates the "pucker factor"  it will be $ well spent.  Since you have a short bed, i bet it will make a world of difference for you.  And, going 60mph is creeping anymore, especially on interstates with all the trucks.

Found the noise stoppers. Ordered them, a Equal-I zer 600 lbs, and clips with thumb springs. Oh, and the pry bar to get the equalizer bar up on brackets. Thanks guys.
Now will look up the screens. hope they are easier than door screen.

Thanks, but I haven't bought it yet. Like I said, I have a sway bar and it works up to 60. So I was going to get the equalizer, and main complete is it is metal on metal squeal or creaking. so if I put a brake shoe pad between the metal bar and holder, that would take care of that, and if we use them on cars, why wouldn't it work on the bar? Havent checked warranty, don't know what they guarantee the unit will do? Just trying to get the best for my money and stop any swaying at 65.   Thanks again for your input. Wish I could use the Equalizer and Sway bar. Not thrilled about chains or springs.
Later, and have a good weekend.

You can use the Equal-i-zer. There are two sources of noise. One is the hitch head banging in the receiver. A hitch tightener will take care of that. I found that it took care of the major part of the offensive noise. I got the StowAway hitch tightener. Now there are clones of it which are less expensive. There are also different types. Choose the one which you think will work best for you.

The other item which will quiet the hitch is the Equal-i-zer Sway Bracket Jacket. These sit on the L bracket and the bar sits on them. They are not brake material. They allow the bar to slide a little easier without the metal-to-metal contact. They take the major part of the groaning out of the turns. Equal-i-zer says that they do lessen the sway control a little, but it seems to be minimal if the hitch is set up properly.

Both of these will go a long way toward making the Equal-i-zer hitch quiet. Neither one will void the warranty.
