I scrubbed ours down after our winter trip. However, I still see the effects of road salt. I will be going under and cleaning and painting rust spots. I already have done some of them. I bought some Rust-oleum Rust Reformer to catch any spots my wire brushing may miss.

oh ya, a ladder is a must for me.  i use a car brush on a long handle for the top and hand wash the rest.  i use turtle wax soap and wipe it down with turtle wax wash and wax.   sparkly when done!!  hogone

Same, same, I don't feel confident walking on roof, either way you need a ladder.

Unfortunately, the roof of the R-Pod is not like behind our ears. The sun's UV rays will with time degrade the gelcoat and the top will eventually grow brittle and crack. Cleaning and applying a protective coating to the top of the R-Pod is not the easiest thing to do. However, it can extend the life of the roof. Besides, when the roof is being cleaned is a good time to inspect the lap sealant for cracks and to clean and apply more lap sealant as needed. If you never look up there, you won't know when a potential leak is developing.
