Just winterized.  ran sink and shower hot/cold until pink.  flushed toilet till pink.  put antifreeze down sink/shower drain.  pushed so pink came out city water connection.  is that it?  is 1 gallon enough?

1 gallon usually does it for me.  Did you follow the checklist in the "manual" thread?

Make sure to empty the drip pan outside behind the fridge, mine was 1/2 full.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Thanks for posting about the pan.  I never knew about that.  Matter of fact, I don't recall ever taking the cover off to notice it.

I winterized mine today and remembered to check for the drip cup, sure enough there it was.  Only had a half-inch of water in it.  I'll add it to the checklist in the "manual".

We added an internal water filter at the kitchen sink.  After a call to the manufacturer, they suggested taking off the filter itself, putting it into a plastic bag and refrigerating it for the winter.  Since there isn't a bypass valve on the filter head, I will have to tie the intake and output together and then do the winterizing.  Just thought I would add that to your basic instructions.  Safe Travels.
